Who are the current members of the Canadian Ball Hockey Association (CBHA)?
The following Provincial Ball Hockey Organizations are members of the Canadian Ball Hockey Association: BC- BC Ball Hockey Association and West Coast Minor Ball Hockey Association; AB- Wild Rose Ball Hockey Association and Alberta Minor Ball Hockey Association; SK- Saskatchewan Ball Hockey Association; MB- Manitoba Ball Hockey Association; ON- Ontario Ball Hockey Federation; QC- Quebec Ball Hockey Association; NB- New Brunswick Ball Hockey Association; NL- Newfoundland and Labrador Ball Hockey Association. Visit the CBHA website to see the August 20, 2012 letter signed by all Provincial Association Presidents confirming this membership status. All CBHA Members have paid their 2012 membership fees in full.

How are Canadian Ball Hockey Association (CBHA) Board Members Elected?
Board member nominations come from Provincial members and are voted in during the Canadian Ball Hockey Association Annual General Meeting.
• Provincial members can have up to 3 votes - one for minors, one for women and one for men as long as they have a minimum of 50 players registered in each category.
• Board members no longer have voting rights. All decisions are voted on by the membership.
• Canadian Ball Hockey Association staff can no longer hold Board positions.

Why did the Canadian Ball Hockey Association (CBHA) terminate the Ontario Ball Hockey Association’s membership?
• The Ontario Ball Hockey Association failed to pay outstanding monies owed to the Canadian Ball Hockey Association for membership fees and supplies. These amounts were collected from their members in good faith but never remitted to the Canadian Ball Hockey Association. These fees, in excess of $25,000, remain unpaid.
• The decision to terminate the Ontario Ball Hockey Association membership did not happen overnight. Discussions between the organizations began in November 2011. A Governance Committee composed of provincial representatives was formed in March 2012 to review the Canadian Ball Hockey Constitution and Bylaws and bring forward recommendations during the Canadian Ball Hockey Association Annual General Meeting (August 11-12, 2012 in Edmonton). The Ontario Ball Hockey Association representative on the Governance Committee was Tim Garratt. Mauro Cugini, Ontario Ball Hockey Association President, elected not to sit on this Committee. Although the Ontario Ball Hockey Association was given these opportunities to openly discuss their issues with the other provinces they chose their own path, leaving the Canadian Ball Hockey Association no other choice but to terminate their membership and pursue new relationships with organizations in Ontario.

Not even close - we are working closer together than ever before. The Canadian Ball Hockey Association has an excellent relationship with Hockey Canada. In 2015, the CBHA presented a "state-of-the-nation" address to the Hockey Canada Board with rave reviews.
