CBHA Announces New Board Member - East VP

The CBHA Board of Directors has appointed Steve Power of Newfoundland to sit in the position of Eastern VP, CBHA.
Newfoundland and its members are one of the original partners in the CBHA family. As such Steve comes to this position with a pedigree of being close to the game at many levels and the great Newfoundland Hockey culture. He was part of the Organizing Committee of the ISBHF 2013 World Championships, brought a team to the CBHA Junior National Championships in Oakville and is the GM of a Canadian Team going to represent us in Slovakia at the World Juniors in June 2014. He is also set to coach the NL entry in the 2014 World Masters in Tampa Bay.
The Atlantic Provinces are a region rich in ball hockey history and tradition. Power will bring his knowledge of the area and its challenges and help us grow the sport in the fundamental ways that will match the new direction that the CBHA Board along with the ISBHF is moving the sport. Towards higher recognition for our sport, players, referees, coaches and administrators.
Please join all of us in welcoming Mr. Power to the CBHA Board of Directors. We know that he will represent his position as Eastern VP with hard work, dignity and a great knowledge of hockey combined with his understanding of the region.
