CBHA Community Team`s Hit The World Stage
2014-09-06The ISBHF is holding its 3rd Master World championships in September. A Couple interesting things are occurring.
First off this will be the largest Masters ever. Secondly this will be the first time our neighbour ASHI hosts a event in Tampa Bay with its partner Matt Geary and his complex. And finally the women will hit the masters stage for the first time.
National teams will be coming from Slovakia, Austria, Bermuda, USA and Greece. And of course the CBHA will have national teams for both the men and women representing all of our CBHA family.
But the CBHA will be sending 4 community teams to represent the CBHA. These teams come from Newfoundland, and the Toronto area, and Niagara Horseshoe area.
The Women`s and two men`s teams come from the OBHF. They are:
Women - Withrow Park - OBHF
Men - Toronto Wolfpak - OBHF
Men - Ballhockey,com - OBHF
Men - Newfoundland Screech - NLBHA

You can cheer these teams on along with our two National teams beginning September 17, on the web. Please check http://www.isbhf.com to get linked in.
Finally this will set the table for the players to prepare for the first Master`s Nationals in Ottawa in August 2015. Winner of that will represent us in 2016 at the next ISBHF Masters.
Best of luck to all the teams!
