The Canadian Ball Hockey Association's Senior Men's Team Canada is pleased to announce the selection of their two assistant coaches for the 2015 World Ball Hockey Championships; Jason Eapen of Calgary, Alberta and Sandro Morello of Montreal, Quebec.

Jason Eapen has been involved in all aspects of ball hockey over the past 25 years, spending the last three years coaching the Calgary Phantoms at the CBHA National Championships.  His resume bleeds experience with the game of ball hockey having played with Team Canada in 1998, Team India in 2008 and playing in 8 national championships.  Jason is excited to embark on this new challenge and looks to bring a palette of knowledge, gamesmanship, motivation, and intelligence to the coaching staff.

With the addition of Sandro Morello to the Team Canada coaching staff, GM Jeff Dzikowicz and Team Canada Head Coach Mathieu Lebrun have brought forward an incredible leader that will share his drive, passion and experience with those lucky enough to be chosen for the 2015 squad.  Sandro has done it all in our game, winning 8 national championships, 4 World Championships and playing professional ball hockey in Switzerland.  He leads by example but more than that he understands the effort it takes to win.  Sandro will be a great role model and leader for the soldiers who are selected to go into the test-tube of Zug with proven nations ready and hungry for victory.

“I am very excited about the coaching staff that has been assembled for the 2015 World Championships.  Lebrun, Morello and Eapen all have incredible experience and more importantly know what it takes to win.  Canada needs to be at it’s best going into Zug next year and I truly feel that this team of coaches will be able to lead us to victory”, says Jeff Dzikowicz, GM Mens Team Canada.
