The Canadian Ball Hockey Association is now accepting applications for General Manager's for our U20 Girls National Team for the 2020 ISBHF U20 Girls World Cup will be taking place in the Slovakia (July 2-5, 2020).

If you love the sport of ball hockey, are looking for a huge challenge and want to be surrounded by players, coaches and staff hungry to represent the CBHA, Canada and the sport of Ball Hockey in the International arena, this challenge is for you.
 
Criteria of  Team Canada General Manager Applicants:

Applicants must be a good standing member of CBHA and its associations and have organized ball hockey teams and/or programs for a minimum of 5 years preferably with high level tournament and national experience. Knowledge of top level male ball hockey players from coast to coast will be an important aspect of this position and should be noted in your application. Outside of ball hockey, any work experience in organizing and/or managing will be a strong asset.
 
General Managers must be able to travel and be prepared to be away before, during and after the tournament dates. The GM chosen for the position must follow all “CBHA High Performance Program” guidelines, procedures and schedules put forward to the GM’s by CBHA and if not followed, CBHA has the right to revoke the appointed position at any point during the planning prior to tournament travel.
 
The General Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to:
  • Assist with the scouting and selection of players
  • Be available for conference calls with the CBHA
  • Develop and manage with the help of the CBHA a Team Canada budget, including per player costs
  • Be responsible for contacting of all chosen players arranging payments for travel, accommodation, etc. as per the budget
  • Select and help supervise all coaching staff, support staff and players
  • Follow a set budget and keep spreadsheets up to date
  • Supply pre and post tournament reports for presentation to the CBHA Board
