In Memoriam - Ron Doornbos

The CBHA would like to pay tribute to Mr. Ron Doornbos Past CBHA President (1986-1987)
A cheerful and enthusiastic man, he contributed to the growth of Ball Hockey in multiple levels both across Canada and in Alberta.
On March 13, Ron Doornbos and his wife Patti Lou Doornbos, both 60, were on a sidewalk on their way to go hiking in Fountain Hills, about 50 kilometres northeast of Phoenix, when they were hit from behind by a Ford Explorer. Patti Lou was taken instantly while Ron later succumed to his injuries on June 12th.
