The CBHA is accepting applications for Head Coach & Assistant Coach of U20 Girls Team Canada...

The first ever International Street and Ball Hockey Federation (ISBHF) U20 Girls World Ball Hockey Championship is taking place June 28, 2018 to July 1, 2018 in Zlin & Prerov, Czech Republic.  Teams have been confirmed from Slovakia, United Kingdom. Czech Republic and the U.S.A.

The CBHA is currently accepting applications from individuals interested in taking on the role of Head Coach and Assistant Coach of the U20 Girls team.

If you share our passion for this great game and are looking for the challenge of working with Elite athletes and staff that are proud to represent the CBHA and Canada on the International stage in Ball Hockey then this opportunity is for you.
 
Head Coach Position- U20 Girls Team Canada

Criteria of U20 Girls Team Canada Head Coach Applicants:
 
- Applicants must be a member in good standing of the CBHA and its Associations

- Experience Coaching Elite athletes at High Level competitions such as World Juniors, Nationals or Provincials.

- Completion of the “Respect in Sport” course and NCCP coaching levels would be an asset and may be required.

- Head Coaches must be able to travel and be away before, during and after the World Junior Championship dates.

- Head Coaches will be expected to promote, support and adhere to the CBHA High Performance Core Values and Canadian Ball Hockey. Foundations put forth by the Team Canada High Performance Director and U20 Girls Team Canada General Manager.

- Experience in Coaching/Developing Junior players at the Elite level

U20 Girls Team Canada Head Coaches will be responsible for but not limited to:
 
- Developing and preparing practice and game plans and promote a “style of play” that follows CBHA Coaching Foundations.

- Being available for U20 Girls Team Canada conference calls with High Performance Director, VP-Minors, U20 Girls Team Canada General Manager and Junior Team Canada staff.

- Supervising (with support from other U20 Girls Team Canada staff) players during travel, hotels and all other areas during trip to ISBHF U20 Girls World Championships.

- Providing feedback or scouting reports on players if required.

- Providing pre-tournament guidance on training for players preparing to represent Canada at the U20 Girls World Championships.

- Organize U20 Girls Team Canada Assistant Coaches.
 

Assistant Coach Position- U20 Girls Team Canada

Criteria of U20 Girls Team Canada Assistant Coach Applicants:

- Applicants must be a member in good standing of the CBHA and its Associations.

- Experience Coaching Elite athletes at High Level competitions such World Juniors, Nationals and/or Provincials.
