St. John's, NL to Host the 2018 ISBHF World Junior Ball Hockey Championships

The Canadian Ball Hockey Association is proud to announce the Newfoundland and Labrador Ball Hockey Association has won the bid to host the 2018 ISBHF World Junior Ball Hockey Championships...
The 2018 ISBHF World Under 20 and Under 18 Ball Hockey Championships will be held from July 4 - 8, 2018 in beautiful St. John's, Newfoundland. The Canadian Ball Hockey Association and host Newfoundland and Labrador Ball Hockey Association will be welcoming teams from around the world.
CBHA President Steve Powers stated, “We are very proud that Canada will be the Host Nation for the 2018 ISBHF World Junior Ball Hockey Championships."
Says Paul Barron, of the NLBHA, “ Newfoundland and Labrador Ball Hockey Association is proud to be the host Province for this prestigious event. This is a great opportunity for our province just like it is for the many players who will be travelling to represent their respective countries. We look forward to celebrating this amazing week of ball hockey in St. John's with the players and fans".
St. John's, Newfoundland has a storied history in hosting great World Championship events. They have hosted the world on two previous occasions for the U20 World Championships in 2008 and recently the Men's and Women's World Championships in 2013.
