Men's Team Canada Announced for 2017 World Championship

The Canadian Ball Hockey Association is very pleased to announce the roster of Men's Team Canada for the 2017 ISBHF World Championship in Pardubice, Czech Republic.
General Manager Jeff Dzikowicz along with the input of the high performance director, scout Peter Upper, past coaches and players, as well as the broader ball hockey community, in accordance with the CBHA High Performance model have selected a truly Canadian representative squad with players from six separate provinces. There are a number of returning players as well as an influx of new faces, including two graduates of the U20 program. The coaching was selected with an emphasis on Ball Hockey specific coaching experience with Past Team Canada assistant coach Ian Moores taking the Head Coaching reigns and Ray Cook having served as an assistant coach in for Junior Team Canada and Masters Team Canada and Nick Sbarra who served as an assistant coach for the last two Masters Team Canada teams.

ANNONCE EQUIPE CANADA ISBHF CHAMPIONNAT DU MONDE 2017.
L'association de hockey balle du Canada (CBHA) est fière de révéler la formation de l’équipe du Canada pour le Championnat mondial ISBHF 2017 qui aura lieu a Pardubice, en République Tchèque au mois de juin prochain. Le directeur général Jeff Dzikowicz., le directeur de haute performance, le recruteur Peter Upper, la CBHA , des dépisteurs, des anciens entraîneurs et des joueurs ont tous collaboré afin de sélectionner de l’équipe canadien 2017. Les dirigeants ont choisi un groupe de joueurs talentueux parmi six provinces du Canada. Dans l’équipe, on retrouve des joueurs qui ont déjà porté les couleurs du Canada ainsi que des nouvelles additions et même deux jeunes espoirs du programme junior U20.
Le choix des entraîneurs a surtout été basé sur leurs expériences antérieures avec l'équipe du Canada. Ian Moores a été nommé entraîneur-chef. Ce dernier a déjà été entraîneur-adjoint en 2015 pour l'équipe du canada. Ray Cook sera un de ses entraîneurs-adjoints. Il a déjà rempli ce poste lors du Championnat mondial des juniors et masters. Pour compléter le personnel, Nick Sbarra a aussi été nommé entraîneur-adjoint. Celui-ci a déjà été l'entraîneur-adjoint pour l'équipe du Canada à deux reprises au Championnat mondial masters en 2014 et 2016.
Finalement, Ryan Benette a été sélectionné comme thérapeute et Nathan Béliveau comme gérant d’équipement.
Nous aimerions remercier tous ces joueurs pour leurs efforts et leur dévouement pour l'équipe du Canada.
