CBHA Congratulates Team Newfoundland & Labrador on their performance in Germany

With the main national events of the year now behind us, I wanted to report on the result of the World Cup for Clubs which took place, from August 3rd to 7th, in Heilbronn, Germany,
One CBHA team from Newfoundland & Labrador was representing us and Canada and finished 4th. Despite showing great athlteticism and skill, they lost their semi-finals 5-2 to Oberwill Rebells from Switzerland (winner of the tournament) and missed out on taking a place in the bronze medal game 6-3 against HBC Highlanders Prachatice from Czech Republic.
The CBHA wishes to thank all the players from Team Labrador for representing Canada and the Canadian Ball Hockey Association. We congratulate them on their performance.
We would also to congratulate Alex Peddle who was nominated “Best Forward” on the All Star Team.
