2016-01-14The Canadian Ball Hockey Association is kicking off 2016 in style, celebrating fresh starts and passionate contributors by announcing the General Managers of Team Canada for the 2017 ISBHF World Ball Hockey Championships.
There is no doubt that Team Canada will feature an outstanding roster of athletes in 2017, and the CBHA is both pleased and proud that Mr. Thomas Walsh and Mr. Jeff Dzikowicz have each accepted General Manager positions for the Women’s and Men’s teams, respectively.
"CBHA High Performance is proud to add these two fine people to our GM stable for our National Men's and Women's program and follow in the footsteps of those who have laid the groundwork for our Golden Heritage of success,” says Director of High Performance for the CBHA, George Gortsos. “Jeff and Thomas have displayed great success in the past by building strong Provincial team programs. They both have National team pedigree and are closely aligned with the Core Values we are building our National High Performance Programmes on here at the CBHA. We wish them both success in the next 18 months as they prepare for the challenge of building teams to go to the World Championships in Pardubice, Czech Republic".
