Results from Regional Championships Are In!

The Manitoba Grasshoppers take home the Gold for Western Regionals (B)

This weekend saw both Eastern and Western Regionals take place in St. Johns, NL and Brandon, MB respectively. The Canadian Ball Hockey Association congratulates all teams and athletes for being a part of such incredible competition, especially the nail-biter final at Easterns between OUtRageOus and the Money Savers!!

The results of Regionals are as follows:

Eastern Regionals "B"
  • GOLD was taken home by NL OutRageOus in shoot-out after going into double ovetime!
  • SILVER went to NL Money Savers Movers
  • BRONZE was awarded to ON Big Batstone
Top Scorer went to Ryan Delaney from OutRageOus with 1 goal and five assists, Top Goalie went to Ralph Pellicori from Big Batstone, Best Defence went to Mike Dyke from the Money Savers, Best Forward went to Mason Reid from Quinlans, and MVP Award went to AJ Whiffen from OutRageOus.

Eastern Regionals "D"
  • GOLD went to NL Window Shop
  • SILVER was taken home by ON Great Balls of Fire
  • BRONZE went to ON Toronto D12
Top scorer went to Casey Cizikas with eight goals and four assists, Top Goalie went to Steve Pond from Window Shop, Best Defense went to Cody MacNamara from Window Shop, Best Forward went to Joe Trenhorn from Hickey's Penguins and MVP Award went to Casey Cizikas from Great Balls of Fire.

Western Regionals "B"
  • GOLD to MB Grasshoppers
  • SILVER went to Edmonton Raging Bulls
  • BRONZE went to Wheatcity Wildcats
MVP for Western "B" went to Shaq Merasty of the MB Grasshoppers, Top goalie went to Dave Laroche of the Edmonton Raging Bulls, Best Defencemen went to Dylan Pascoe of the MB Grasshoppers, Best Forward went to Blake Grainger of the Raging Bulls, and Top Scorer went to Shaq Merasty of the MB Grasshoppers.

Western Regionals "C"
  • GOLD to Edmonton Cobras with 3:2 score
  • SILVER to MB Central Braves
  • BRONZE to Saskatoon (C.S)
Top Scorer -award went to Brent Mcgugan of the Edmonton
Cobras, Top Goalie went to Coire McLaughlin also of the Cobras, Best Defencemen was taken home by Wayne Dussiuame of the Central Braves, Best Forward went to Matt Biron of the Cobras, and MVP also went to Matt Biron. 

Western Regionals "D"
  • GOLD went to Ribstone Creek Muskrats
  • SILVER went to Edmonton Redline
  • BRONZE went to Saskatchewan Monsters
