Goodbye Zug 2015! Next Up? Pardubice, Czech Republic in 2017!
2015-07-01Team Canada has performed exceedingly well at the bi-annual ISBHF World Championships in Zug with the Womens Team taking home GOLD and the Mens Team finishing proudly in fifth position.
The ISBHF's 2015 World Championships in Zug this year have been touted a resounding success, and Team Canada did sport and country proud in their representation. The final scoreboard saw Team Canada Women take home the gold, as did Slovakia in the Men's competition.
Women's Team Canada were a force to be reckoned with in Zug this year - indominable, and remaining undefeated for the duration of the competition, their final victory against Czechoslovakia ended in a 5:1 result. Additionally, Team Canada Women were proud to also have taken home the Tournament's Fair Play Award, and to see team members rewarded as follows:
And so with Zug 2015 all wrapped up, the focus of the next generation of CBHA players looks to the next ISBHF Championships in 2017 being held in Pardubice, Czech Republic.
