Team Canada is performing exceptionally well at the ISBHF 2015 World Championships in Zug, with the Women's team leading their competition and the Men's team coming in second place in their pool (at time of release).

Team Canada is doing us proud at Zug 2015 currently having played a collective six games between the Men's and Women's teams.

Follow us on Twiiter for the behind the scenes action at https://twitter.com/CanBallHockey (EN) and https://twitter.com/HockeyBalleCan (FR).

We couldnt be prouder to have three of our Men's athletes represented on the Top 10 scorers board with Dustin Kelly coming in at #2 and Frank Guistini and Dominic Morency coming in at numbers 6 and 8 respectively.

The Women's team are performing incredibly well holding court with 6 of the top 10 positions, led by Amanda Keen and Dawn Tulk at spots 1 and 2 with 8 and 7 points respectively, chased closely by April Drake, Jessie McCann and Silvia Traversa all in the top 5 with 6 points each. Elysia Desmier is hot on their heels with 5 points landing her at position #8 of the top scorers leaderboard.

The Opening Ceremony on Friday 19th June was followed by the kick-off game between Switzerland and Bermuda on Friday, 19th of June which saw Switzerland win on home soil, 1-0.

Both Men's and Women's Team Canada recieved a much needed day of acclimatisation to recover form their lengthy journey on Saturday with both teams starting the week out strong.

Sunday 21st of June saw Men's Team Canada (playing in the A Pool) pitted against the host team, Switzerland and after a great game, Canada proudly walked away with the win, 7-2.

Monday 22nd of June needed both teams to bring their A-game with the Women's team facing off against Great Britain first thing in the morning and then again later against Team Italia in the evening. Both games saw Women's Team Canada totally unstoppable as they walked away with a wins and identical scores of 10-0 for both games. Monday saw the Men's team dominate Bermuda 15-1 before calling it a day and getting ready for a stiff competition against Greece the following day.

Tuesday's game against Greece went against Canada with Greece taking the win at 4-3, and the Women made the most of a non-competition day in Zug preparing their game plan for Wednesday's match against Switzerland. That game planning must have been something else because they walked away with another win against the home team at 9-1. Team Canada Men's played again today at 7am EST against Czechoslovakia with a nil all draw.

At the time of writing, the leaderboard positions Women's Team Canada on top of the ladder at #1, with Men's Team Canada doing incredibly well in their pool at position #2.
