2015 Western Challenge Cup Host City Announced

2014-11-17

The CBHA is proud to announce that the 2015 Western Challenge Cup will be hosted by the City of Surrey, British Columbia.

Surrey Minor Ball Hockey submitted a strong proposal and will be the hosting association working in conjunction with the CBHA to produce another grand event.  Over the years the Western Challenge Cup has produced some of the greatest tournaments, hosting over 30+ teams from BC, AB, SK and MB.

The host association will be distributing information to all associations within the next month.   In this package you will find the following information: what’s happening around Surrey;  local malls and shopping; local eateries and restaurants; and, things to do for the family.  The package will also include hotel information and details on the event.

We will be updating the WCC website: www.wccballhockey.com with this information along with any other pertinent details.

This year is a CBHA Junior Team Canada scouting year for all of our youth players with the Western Challenge Cup being one of the events where our CBHA JTC staff can scout and see the youth talent.

Should you have any questions please first contact your local association; if you need further clarification please feel free to contact the WCC hosting committee at - wcchostadmin@cbha.com.
